CATAGEN Named as one of the UK’s Most Innovative Green Technology Companies in 2024 by BusinessCloud

CATAGEN has been named as one of the EnviroTech 50 by BusinessCloud, which lists the UK’s most innovative Green Tech creators in 2024.

BusinessCloud’s EnviroTech 50 ranks the most innovative green technology developers in the UK. The ranking of the list is determined by an expert judging panel, including professionals from Digital Catapult, Tech Nation, and Sputnik Digital, along with a public vote from BusinessCloud’s readers.

This is the second consecutive year that CATAGEN have placed in the EnviroTech 50 list, this year ranking in 19th position. We were also one of only 3 Northern Irish (NI) companies to rank on the list, and the only one from NI to be developing decarbonisation technology. 

We are a pioneering green emissions testing facility based in Belfast providing unrivalled metrics to optimise catalyst development and reduce harmful tailpipe emissions. Our expertise in the mobility sector and global emissions standards has led us to develop the ClimaHtech system.

CATAGEN’s ClimaHtech suite is an acceleration system towards decarbonisation using advanced climate technologies to generate renewable hydrogen, biohydrogen and gHreen e-fuels with complementary systems for carbon capture and hydrogen compression.

Our BIOHGEN, E-FUEL, and COMPRESSOR technologies will reach full-scale demonstration by Q4 this year.
