CATAGEN marks its fourth consecutive year as Official Supplier to Ducati in 2026, building on a technical relationship that first began in 2020.
As Official Supplier and catalyst ageing partner, CATAGEN supports Ducati’s motorcycle development programmes through accelerated durability validation and emissions development across multiple platforms. Over the years, the relationship has evolved into a closely aligned engineering partnership focused on advanced catalyst ageing, regulatory compliance and global homologation support.
Supporting High-Performance Emissions Compliance.
Using CATAGEN’s patented electrically driven recirculating gas reactor technology, Ducati benefits from controlled and repeatable ageing conditions designed to replicate real-world exhaust environments. This enables robust durability validation aligned to Euro 5+ and international regulatory requirements, supporting confident certification and global vehicle launches.
The reactor platform delivers fossil-free accelerated ageing, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions compared to conventional fuel-based durability methods while generating high-quality, consistent data to support calibration optimisation and regulatory readiness.
Since work first began in 2020, CATAGEN and Ducati engineering teams have established a structured and integrated approach to aftertreatment durability testing.
To date, the partnership has delivered 45 projects, accumulating more than 7,500 hours of catalyst ageing across 68 individual catalysts, demonstrating both technical scale and long-term alignment.
“Our work with CATAGEN has strengthened over the past several years. The consistency and quality of ageing data, combined with strong technical engagement, supports our durability validation activities and enhances confidence during homologation.”
“Marking four years as Official Supplier to Ducati is an important milestone for our team. Our focus has always been on delivering robust, repeatable and sustainable emissions development solutions that support high-performance platforms and regulatory readiness. We look forward to continuing this technical partnership in 2026 and beyond.”
Looking Ahead
In 2026, CATAGEN Green Emissions Testing will continue to support Ducati’s evolving development programmes, ensuring readiness for future regulatory requirements and global market expansion. The partnership remains focused on delivering accelerated durability validation, engineering confidence and sustainable testing solutions for next-generation motorcycles.
Ducati is one of 50 global partners currently working with CATAGEN Green Emissions Testing, across sectors including light-duty passenger vehicles, heavy-duty diesel, generators, solid oxide fuel cells, Aftermarket and Motorcycles.
