CATAGEN is shortlisted again for Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, after successful 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023 rankings.
CATAGEN has been named one of the 50 fastest-growing tech companies in Ireland by the 2024 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards—its fifth listing since 2019. Over the past 3 years, CATAGEN has expanded its team to over 70 people, developed 5 new net zero technologies, and progressed development on a Net Zero Campus in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
In 2025, CATAGEN will launch full scale demonstrations of its ClimaHtech BIOHGEN, E-FUEL, and COMPRESSOR technologies.
ClimaHtech BIOHGEN technology utilizes proprietary technology to produce cost-effective biohydrogen from sustainable bio-organic sources, contributing to a Net Zero carbon hydrogen economy with applications in the food and drink industry, agriculture, and other industrial applications.
ClimaHtech E-FUEL GEN technology produces energy dense liquid e-fuels, another essential future fuel in a net zero economy. ‘Drop in’ or blended synthetic fuels can be produced such as e-diesel, e-gasoline, e-kerosene and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). E-FUEL GEN enables the decarbonisation of hard to decarbonise sectors such as aviation, marine, heavy industry, agriculture, and mobility.
ClimaHtech COMPRESSOR, a high-pressure hybrid pumping system, stands out for efficient hydrogen storage and dispensing, addressing current industry inefficiencies. Its uses extend to transport, mobility, non-road machinery, storage, and integrated hydrogen systems.
Achieving recognition in the Fast 50 Awards underscores CATAGEN’s consistent growth, innovation, and dedication to its purpose to clean and decarbonise the air.
CATAGEN’S CEO and Co-Founder Dr Andrew Woods said, “Behind CATAGEN’s growth and success is our talented, innovative, and fearless team, whose dedication and drive, powers everything we achieve at CATAGEN. Thank you for making CATAGEN what it is today and for shaping what it will be in the future.”
