I work across both our core engineering team and Net Zero technologies projects. I cover everything from sourcing right through to item delivery and storage.

How long have you worked at CATAGEN?

What is your favourite thing about working at CATAGEN? 

The team! It’s a great to be a part of such a motivated and innovative company. Everyone gets stuck in to help and you’re never without of a good laugh! 

What does your average working day look like?

I don’t think I’ve had two days the same yet, but mostly its:-  

• Sourcing items for the teams and working alongside suppliers to create solutions to our needs. 
• Arranging transport and storage for items arriving. 
• Supporting the teams to ensure everything arrives for when we need it (not a small challenge by any means!)  

Can you share a fun or quirky fact about yourself that your colleagues might not know?

I’m really really really fussy eater!

What are you looking forward to this year?

Personally, I’ve three Nieces and or Nephews due in the next few months – can’t wait to meet them (though my bank balance might say otherwise!) Professionally its going to be great to see the projects up and running. It’s why I enjoy supply chain so much getting to see projects from the very first concept right through to completion makes all the hard work worth it.

Holidays and helping at the family farm.

Spiders and wearing matching socks – cannot cope with either!

Can you provide words of wisdom to any new employees that have started?

Just get stuck in! Everyone is so lovely and friendly so don’t be afraid to ask questions.
