CATAGEN named as a 2025 WIRED Trailblazer

CATAGEN is proud of be listed as a 2025 WIRED Trailblazer by WIRED Consulting and HSBC UK, its second listing since 2023.

The WIRED Trailblazers initiative – delivered by WIRED Consulting in partnership with HSBC UK – is designed to spotlight the UK’s most dynamic, fast-growing mid-sized companies that use innovation to create positive social, economic or environmental impact. This year, 82 winners were selected for their growth trajectory, novel approaches, and capacity to shape industry and markets.

CATAGEN’s mission is to clean and decarbonise the air, driving innovation to combat climate change. As a WIRED Trailblazer, CATAGEN is recognised for developing transformative technologies that deliver both economic and societal impact.

This recognition by WIRED Trailblazing follows a year of remarkable progress for CATAGEN.

In 2025, CATAGEN;

Launched ClimaHtech Green Flight, a dedicated sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) company, with strategic partnerships announced with Ryanair and Shell Aviation Ireland for offtake of sustainable aviation fuel.
Unveiled the ClimaHtech Compressor, a wholly owned subsidiary focused on best-in-class efficient hydrogen compression solutions.
Expanded Green Emissions Testing services into North America, supporting OEMs and industry leaders as they navigate global emissions standards.
CATAGEN has received multiple recognitions for innovation and growth, placing 151st in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA (2025); being listed in the Deloitte Ireland Technology Fast 50 (2025) for the 6th time; and was selected for the UK Tech Nation Future Fifty programme for late-stage tech scale-ups.
