Yesterday CATAGEN celebrated its 15 year anniversary of its founding day.
This week, the CATAGEN team came together to celebrate a big milestone—15 years since the company was founded in 2010. We marked the occasion by reminiscing over old team photos from the past decade and a half with a slice of cake or two.
From a bold idea in 2010 to a growing team of over 70, our journey began with green emissions testing—and has evolved into delivering world-leading climate technologies through ClimaHtech, helping decarbonise some of the world’s toughest industries.
Today, CATAGEN supports over 10 sectors, from marine and motorcycles, to heavy-duty transport and aviation. Our work is backed by leading companies and institutions like Ducati, the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, and Tech Nation, and we have large-scale demonstration projects launching this summer for our biohydrogen, e-fuel, and hydrogen compression technologies.
While the world has changed dramatically since 2010, one thing has remained constant: our mission is to clean and decarbonise the air. This mission continues to guide every decision we make, every innovation we pursue, and every project we deliver.

Our 15-year anniversary gave us a moment to pause and reflect, not only on our progress, but on the legacy we’re building. CATAGEN is more than a technology company. It’s a team of passionate individuals working toward a cleaner planet. It’s innovation with impact. And it’s a belief that climate action must be urgent, bold, and enduring.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the CATAGEN story so far. We’re just getting started.
