CATAGEN welcomed Andy Marsh CEO Plug Power, Kevin Devlin CEO Renewable Power Capital, and Kathryn Ellis Director UMass Innovation Institute University of Massachusetts Amherst yesterday to it’s Net Zero Campus. They have joined the new US Net Zero Advisory Board established by Invest Northern Ireland in partnership with Northern Irish Connections and supported by the office of the Special Envoy to Northern Ireland, Joe Kennedy III.
The objective of this board is to enhance the international awareness of Northern Ireland’s Green Economy and Net Zero strengths by advising on proposition development initially targeted at the United States and then globally. This proposition will be designed to stimulate economic advancement by identifying trade, FDI, financing and green diversification opportunities in the US.
Andrew Woods and Sonya Kerr had the opportunity to meet Minister Murphy and Special Envoy to Northern Ireland, Joe Kennedy III at the launch of the US Net Zero Advisory Board later in the day. We welcome the formation of this Board and appreciate the network that Joe Kennedy III has opened already to support CATAGEN on its mission to clean and decarbonise the air.
Special thanks to Rachel Sankannawar at Invest NI for facilitating the visit.
