I am the Net Zero Strategic Funding Lead At CATAGEN within the funding team.
I support the development and implementation of CATAGEN’s funding strategy, and craft funding proposals that support the company’s growth and long-term vision.

What does your average working day look like?
- Researching and examining funding programmes, calls and government strategies priorities and their alignment with CATAGEN’s strategic direction and priorities.
- Developing funding bids
- Collaborating with stakeholders and project partners

CATAGEN is an awesome company, everyone’s got your back and is always ready to lend a hand. Seriously, there’s no such thing as a ‘silly’ question here. Don’t stress about trying to be a tech genius or a lingo pro right from the get-go, that’ll all come with time. And when it comes to areas like funding, marketing, and finance, you don’t have to be a walking encyclopedia – just focus on your role, and the rest will fall into place. Enjoy the learning journey and know that you’ve got this!

Booking a family holiday and Arsenal winning the league.
