This month Dr Andrew Woods CEO & Founder, Ryan Burke Senior Engineer and Tom Morris Senior Engineer headed to Glasgow for the Annual All-Energy Exhibition and conference.
We caught up with Tom Morris to find out more:
What is the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference?
The All-Energy Exhibition and Conference is an event in Glasgow that brings together companies and professionals from various energy sectors from all over the world with a focus on renewables and low carbon energy technologies.
As well as the numerous exhibitors on the main floor, there were conferences going on throughout the two days with speakers presenting the most up-to-date findings in their fields.
Why was it important to attend?
CATAGEN is a net zero company with a mission to clean and decarbonise the air so the All-Energy event was a perfect place to meet potential partners for development projects.
I recently joined CATAGEN so personally it was important to attend to allow me to get a better understanding of the wider energy market. It was also brilliant for networking and creating valuable contacts for future projects.
What was the best thing about the Conference?
The best part of the experience was exhibiting on the Invest NI stand alongside fellow Northern Ireland based companies. Everyone was so helpful in directing people to one another as well as it being great craic.
It was also great to see how interested people were in the novel technologies that CATAGEN are developing in green hydrogen and e-fuels.
What was a key takeaway from the 2 days?
A key takeaway for me was learning that the technologies being developed by CATAGEN are unique and innovative. The novel approaches will be disruptive to the energy sector in the future.
